Hello and thank you for viewing our web site. My name is Tom Dempsey, owner and certified inspector at Shamrock Building Inspection Consultants, LLC.
I have been in many of the building trades in the last 30 years. I started in the mid 1970’s as a tinsmith (exterior and interior metal work) in both residential and commercial buildings. I then became involved in general remodeling of 100+ year old buildings which were converted from old school houses, churches, etc. to residential or multi-family housing. Rough carpentry, finished carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonry and HVAC were all part of the daily job requirements.
Our passion at Shamrock is education. I have absorbed a great deal of construction and general maintenance information in the past 30 years. I enjoy sharing what I have learned with others both verbally during the inspection and in a written electronic report.
